I started packing for college yesterday, and when I was going through my tights, I found these spider web pair from H&M. I've never worn them before, so I decided to give them a try today. The strangest thing about the tights is the fact that I remember exactly why I bought them: I thought they were fishnet tights that had a floral pattern on them. I'm not quite sure what the heck I was thinking as they aren't fishnet-y and they haven't any obvious floral pattern.
Oh! The last (out of focus) picture is with my dog named Pippin. I know, he looks pretty smug.

I absolutely loved Carey Mulligan’s cover shoot for Vogue, especially since I have admired Miss Mulligan for quite some time now (I think since the end of 2009? I guess not that long…) with her performance in An Education. There have not been many interviews with Carey Mulligan, so when I read Vogue’s interview, I felt like she wasn’t your (get ready for a cliché phrase) cookie cutter movie star. She seemed real and completely and utterly down-to-earth. Plus, her style is amazing! I mean, who didn’t love the Prada dress she wore to the Oscars that was covered in little kitchen utensils? There are also her awesome and short platinum locks that even I wish I could pull off. I seriously can’t wait to see her newest movies that are coming soon and see what she has in store for us in the future.
P.S. I want her black hat she is wearing throughout the shoot.

When I put this outfit together, I thought I looked like the offspring of Tinkerbell and a tranny. Nonetheless, I had attempted fun at trying to run in the Forever 21 platform Mary Janes. I didn't fall, but was close to it.

I love this new dress I bought online recently. It's Alexa Chung for Madewell and is absolutely well made. The best parts about the dress is the little ruffle collar and how full the skirt is. The wind easily picks it up (which can be a downfall when it is blown up too far) and makes spinning in circles all the much better. I also wore my Jeffrey Campbell clogs that appear to be treacherous when in reality they are a (cheesy) cakewalk. So fun.
